Rachel Tucker

Academic Background

Rachel graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, UK in 2005. She initially worked in mixed and equine practice, before completing an internship at Liphook Equine Hospital and a residency in equine surgery at the Royal Veterinary College, becoming a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgery in 2017. Rachel returned to Liphook Equine Hospital, a large multidisciplinary hospital in SE England, where she sees a wide variety of surgical, orthopaedic and poor performance referrals. Rachel has a special interest in diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the neck, with a particular interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery. She combines her caseload with clinical research as time allows and has published several papers in this field
