Henry Tremaine
Academic Background
Henry Tremaine graduated from the RVC in 1989 and spent some time in mixed and equine practice before undertaking a residency in Equine surgery at the Royal Dick School in Edinburgh. There, under the guidance of Professor Dixon he developed an interest and understanding of equine dentistry as nobody else would touch equine dental cases. After completing the residency he went to Ohio State University and was subsequently on the faculty at the Universities of Edinburgh and Bristol before moving into private equine practice in Gloucestershire 2017. The practice was purchased by CVS shortly afterwards. He is a Diplomate of the ECVS and EVDC and a Fellow of the RCVS and a European Veterinary specialist. He has published and lectured widely in maxillofacial surgery and dentistry, and has organised conferences in the UK and overseas. He is the past president of the EVDC and on the Board of WEVA.
